Country Home Center’s

Leadership

Howard Manosh

Owner

A life-long Vermonter, Howard Manosh has worked hard his entire life.  Growing up, he helped out his father in the family store and on the farm.  In the 1960’s after working various local jobs with great success, he started  H.A. Manosh Corporation, providing well drilling, water pump and piping services, excavation, and aggregate materials throughout northern Vermont.  He also ran a successful car wash, restaurant and motor inn. Howard started building his real-estate portfolio in the early 1970’s picking up properties in the greater Lamoille Valley area. Over the years, he expanded his holdings into Newport, Hyde Park, Wolcott, and Hardwick. Though his real-estate holdings have grown over the years, one thing has never changed – Howard’s dedication to his tenants and their surrounding communities. A prominent and respected figure in the northern and central parts of Vermont, Howard has always believed in giving back to the communities he serves. He has supported countless organizations and projects, and is always willing to contribute to worthwhile initiatives. Now in his mid-80’s, Howard has slowed down his daily activities by turning over some of his holdings to his sons, Nick and Jeff.   Although his day-to-day business activities may have slowed down a bit, Howard has not.  With 15+ properties and multiple tenants to care for, and Country Home Center, he remains as active and outgoing as ever.

Kevin Amyot

Vice President

I started work for H.A. Manosh in 1998 as a helper for the maintenance department. Through the years my responsibilities expanded until I was promoted to Real Estate Manager. From there I became vice President of the Country Home Center . Now my duties require me to spend more time in the office than in the field. That being said my passion  for my commercial tenant and customers at the Country Home center are the most important part of my job. I pride myself in always making myself available at any time to my tenants , Customers , and Employees. I wake up every morning excited to come to work. I live in Westfield Vermont with my wife Christine and my two children Tyler and Hannah.

Julie Johnson

Head of Accounts Receivable & Payable
ap@chcvt.com

Julie started working at Country Home Center in 1992, when we still had the Garden Center. Julie worked in the Greenhouse maintenance department, which consisted of maintaining the plants and helping customers with each and every variety that we had. Once the Garden Center went away Julie started working at the front counter as a cashier clerk. She would help customers who came in to look at any product or try to find a product we may have had in store. After a couple years went by Julie then took on some responsibilities with the receivables for the store as well as cashier still. In 2019 Julie then took over the accounts receivable & payables department. Julie is a very outgoing person who loves gardening and outdoors. She has two beautiful german shepherds that she adores, as well as her two daughters who live nearby. We at Country Home Center love having Julie be a part of our team to help us get through our days.
